6 Steps for daily liver cleanse

Liver plays a crucial role in detoxifying your body, metabolizing nutrients, and producing bile for digestion. While the idea of "liver cleansing" or "detox" diets is popular, it's important to understand that your liver is naturally equipped to cleanse itself without the need for special supplements or extreme diets.
However, you can support your liver's natural functions and promote its overall health through a healthy lifestyle. Here are the 6 tips that i use daily:
1.Drink plenty of water
Drinking plenty of water is very essential for your liver to filter out toxins. Aim for 8-10 glasses of water a day. Hydration supports the liver's ability to process and eliminate waste.
2.Sweat it out.
Physical activity helps maintain a healthy weight, which is crucial for liver health. Regular exercise can reduce fat accumulation in the liver and improve insulin sensitivity. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per week. If you can't imagine going to a regular gym you can try sauna, hot yoga or just a walk in nature, just to help sweat it out.
3.Eat balanced diet
Focus on whole foods. Try to include all raw vegetables in your diet, if not possible you can try juicing. One of the best juices for liver is believed to be celery juice, it's highly detoxifying and restorative for the liver. Be creative and mix different vegetables to get a juice that is rich in taste and also cleanse your liver in the wake. Also try to incorporate healthy fats in your diet like avocado, olive oil, nuts and fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, sardines) which are rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
4.Say goodbye to toxins
Excessive alcohol consumption is a major cause of liver damage, leading to conditions like fatty liver disease, hepatitis, and cirrhosis. If you drink alcohol, do so in moderation. If you have existing liver concerns, it's often recommended to avoid alcohol altogether. Also try to avoid other toxins like tobacco and processed foods.
5.Try liver support supplements
To speed up the detoxification process, you can also use some liver support supplements. Many herbs have been traditionally used to support liver health, and some have scientific evidence backing their benefits. For example- milk thistle, perhaps the most well-known herb for liver support. Dandelion root, believed to support liver detoxification by stimulating bile production, which helps the liver process and remove toxins more efficiently. Also turmeric, the active compound, curcumin, is a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Same like ginger root contains powerful compounds. Green tea, while technically not an herb, green tea is rich in powerful antioxidants, and artichoke, may protect the liver from damage and promote new tissue growth.
6.Quality sleep and stress management
Adequate sleep is vital for overall health, including liver function. During sleep, your body carries out essential repair and detoxification processes. Aim for 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night. Chronic stress can also impact liver health. Incorporate stress-reducing activities into your routine such as mindfulness, yoga, meditation, or spending time in nature.
